The day finally came when little Mac got to meet Dan and Julia! Thanks to Julia's amazing camera and awesome photography skills, we got some wonderful pictures!

4th of July!

Last weekend we got to visit with the Brooks family. What a fun time! Here are some pictures that Amy took of our visit and little Mac (10 weeks old).

A Growing Boy

We have a growing boy on our hands! It seems like just yesterday little Mac was wearing the cute little new born size clothes, but just yesterday I had to move him up to the 3-6 month sizes! (Note: he is only 8 weeks old!) Here are some pictures and a video to show you what he has been up to:

Almost 6! (weeks)

Congratulations Mac! You made it to 6 weeks old! Let's look at some pictures to remember your last couple of weeks.

Mac Turns 3! (weeks)

Wow - can it really be? It's been three weeks already and so far we have all survived!

Funny Story: I (Amanda) have been getting up at night to feed Mac, and last night Ellis wanted to help so that I could get more sleep. So, at about 2:30am Ellis got up to help change Mac's diaper and get him ready to eat. It was like watching a comedy show! Ellis was still half asleep, and as soon as he finished taking off the VERY poopy diaper, Mac pooped again - all over everything! Then, as soon as Ellis got that cleaned up, Mac peed all over everything! Once Ellis got all of the pee and 2nd new diaper and clothes changed, yes, you guessed it - Mac peed again before Ellis could get the third diaper on! Ha! We'll see if Ellis volunteers to help again tonight!

Some of our friends from Duke CMDA (Christian Medical & Dental Assoc.) came by to drop off dinner and pray for little Mac. June, Chinazar & Kate brought a delicious meal complete with a "Three Weeks" Birthday cake! We had a lot of fun singing happy birthday to Mac while he celebrated by sleeping.

Mac's newest toy: the baby bouncer. He doesn't really do anything but lay in it, but hopefully he will actually look at things and play soon!

Ellis' newest masterpiece: The Baby Web Cam Monitoring System. If you look closely, you can see a webcam mounted on the end of the basinet. Ellis has programed this camera to watch Mac so that he can be monitored from any computer on our internet. Daddy is watching you Mac!

It's about time our cat (C.T.) got some face-time on this blog. He's been pretty much doing this (sleeping) and begging for food/eating since Mac came home. So far, so good in his behavior with little Mac home.
